Pneumatic Foil Feed Sequence or Operation
<<Previous Page

1. |
When the machine
cycles the pilot valve on the Print Head Valve pressurizes the Red
line (Foil Feed Trigger).
The air goes through the Foil Delay Control and the Check Valve
witch applies the same pressure to both air pilots on the Foil Feed
Valve.
Nothing visible happens. |
2. |
When the machine Print Cycle ends
the pilot valve on the Print Head Valve closes dropping the pressure
on the Red line (Foil Feed Trigger) to zero.
The pressure on the air pilot spring side of the Foil Feed Valve
drops as a rate controlled by the Foil Feed Delay Control. The
pressure on the non spring is held constant by the Check Valve. When the
pressure gets
low enough the Foil Feed Valve plunger moves to the spring side.
The Foil Feed Cylinder starts to extend. |
3. |
When the Foil Feed Cylinder
extend enough to hit the End of Travel Valve. The vale opens
bleeding the pressure on air pilot non spring side to zero
Because both air pilots are at zero pressure the spring pushed the
plunger back to the home position. The cycle is complete. | |
Notes: |
1. | Any leak
however small will cause the system to fail. |
2 |
Any change in the
length or size of the airlines can cause problems in the
system. |
